NOTE: These tips are for Diablo II recruiting. Once we get a feel for Diablo III, we will update the page with new information. Creating The Game:
First, you will need to start a recruiting game. Put an obvious name on it so people would know what kind of a game it is. Name it CR Recruiting or something similar. After you have done that, wait for a few people to enter. Even after that, don't fight them. Just watch.

What To Look For:
1. Look for the kind of attitude that somone portrays. By that I mean look for righteousness, but with a desire to kick some ass at the same time. NEVER RECUIT SOMEONE WHO IS BEING AN ASS FOR NO REASON. Look at how they act when they are beaten, when they beat someone else, and for patience. The person you will be recruiting will be the most patient of everyone. Be very careful about recruiting people who are annoying (example: constantly asking for items)
2. Look for PKing skills. Don't recruit any newbies. I've made that mistake in the past and I will never again. I want you to just look for the best of the best. When someone you are interested in has fought for a while, give him a chance to fight you, to test his skills on an actual clan member. Never go easy on him, but DO NOT EVER be cheap either. This guy will need to be very good at PKing.
3. You will only be choosing one person out of everyone who enters your game. Let everyone know that.

After Observation:
1. Don't be afraid of not recruiting someone or offending someone by not letting them in the clan. If someone gets offended, they don't deserve to be a part of the clan.
2. When you have seen what one person can do, open a trading session with him to chat with him, alone. Ask him his name (remember it), where he comes from, get aquainted with him and let him feel comfortable with you. After chatting with him for a while, tell him that are interested in having him as a part of the clan.
3. At that point, tell him that he will have to make a new account and character, but also let him know that he can keep his old one as a "personal account." The new account will NEED to have "CR-" in front of its name, and the new character will NEED to have "CR-" in capital letters in front of his name also.
4. Let him know that when he has changed his account and character, have him meet you in our chat channel "crclan." Whisper it to him because we don't want anyone else to know the name of the clan's channel.
5. When you get there, let him know that there will be people, including yourself, there to help rush him and cow with him. Also tell him to thoroughly check the site right away, and to OFTEN check the site after that. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL CR MEMBERS CONSTANTLY CHECK THE SITE.
6. Last, you will need to get him to add everyone he can in his friend's list. If he doesn't know what that is, explain it to him. The leaders' names take priority over all others. He needs to make sure that he has all of the leaders' names in his list, followed by the next hightest rank, and so forth.
